- Actually, once I got a Swiftlink and tried to use Desterm at speeds higher
- than 9600, I had major problems. Could be my modem, perhaps. It's a
- Zoltrix which someone gave me, (and maybe that explains everything) I
- actually had to shut XON/XOFF *off* on Desterm to eliminate the problem.
- This was by the suggestion of Doug Cotton. He first tried to convince me
- to buy Dialogue instead, (can't blame him for that) then he told me that
- several people have eliminated problems in Desterm by turning off XON/XOFF
- completely. Well, that did the trick! No problems since then, and my
- modem is still set to &K3, (RTS/CTS) which is default for most modems.

- I have heard that Matt is working on the next version of Desterm. It will
- support hardware handshaking, punter bugs will be fixed, and it MAY run
- from a Ramlink!
